What does CrewDog CV do for an agency?

It turns a contractor's CV into something you can put in front of a client. Import it from Word, PDF or a LinkedIn profile, tailor it to the role, anonymise it if you are pitching speculatively, and put your agency's cover page on the front. Send the result as a PDF, as a Word file, or as a tracked link with its own page.

What does it cost?

One CV costs one credit, and a credit costs about a pound. Solo is £50 a month for 50 CVs, Plus is £90 for 100, and Pro is £200 for 250. Above 250 a month we price by the year. All prices are in GBP and include VAT.

What counts as a CV?

Accepted Answer

Every CV document you create costs one credit. That includes a new CV, a version tailored to a job, a copy of one you already have, and an anonymised spec CV. Editing, re-exporting or re-sharing a CV you have already made costs nothing.

What happens when I run out?

Accepted Answer

You top up. £50 buys 50 more CVs, any time, at the same £1 each. There is no overdraft: when the balance reaches zero, creating CVs stops until you top up, so you are never billed for something you did not choose to buy.

Do unused CVs roll over?

Accepted Answer

Plan CVs reset at the start of each billing month. Unused ones do not roll over. Top-up CVs last a year from the day you buy them. So a quiet month costs you the plan CVs you did not use, but never the ones you paid extra for.

Can I send a CV without the candidate's details on it?

Yes. An anonymised spec CV keeps the experience, the skills and the availability, and takes out the name, the contact details and anything else that identifies the person. It carries your agency's branding and its own reference code, so when a client comes back about a candidate you know which one they mean.

Does it work with the CRM we already use?

It works alongside it. Export the finished CV as a PDF or a Word file to attach to your candidate record, or send a tracked link instead and keep the CV here. Direct CRM connectors are on the roadmap rather than shipping today.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The free plan gives you three CVs a month and the AI that writes them. Starting a CV, tailoring one to a job and copying one all count toward the same three, and the count starts again at the beginning of each month. You can export to PDF on the free plan, and free CVs carry a CrewDog watermark.

What is the watermark on my CV?

It is the CrewDog logo, faint and centred on the page, added to CVs made on the free plan. You cannot turn it off while you are on the free plan. Once you upgrade, new CVs come out without it, and you can take it off the CVs you already made from the Images panel in the editor, one at a time.

What does upgrading get me?

The paid plan is £40 a month. It removes the monthly limit, so you can make as many CVs as you want, takes the watermark off, and adds Word (DOCX) export alongside PDF.

Can I try it without making an account?

Yes. Start a CV now and you pick how to start: upload a CV, pull it in from LinkedIn, or begin from blank. You get one CV that way. Create an account when you want to keep it, and it comes with you.

Can the AI tailor my CV to a specific job?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Give it the job description and it rewrites your CV against that role, reworking your bullet points and pulling the relevant experience up the page. It will write the matching cover letter too. Both are on every plan, including the free one.

What formats can I export?

PDF on any plan, with the watermark while you are on the free one. Word (DOCX) export is on the paid plan, for when someone asks for a file they can edit.
