The whole world wants Aberdeen oil workers just not Aberdeen
The latest estimate puts Middle East energy infrastructure damage at close to $60 billion.

That is not a policy debate. That is physical work that needs done.
Pipelines repaired. Refineries rebuilt. Processing plants restarted. Storage and export systems brought back online.
That scale creates one thing. Jobs. A lot of them.
The size of the opportunity
$60 billion in damage does not translate into a few vacancies. It drives:
- multi year EPC projects
- large scale shutdown and turnaround campaigns
- full asset rebuild programmes
- long term maintenance and integrity contracts
In industry terms, that is tens of thousands of contract roles over the lifecycle of these projects.
And it does not hit one country. It spreads across the Gulf region with multiple operators and contractors moving at the same time.
Where the jobs are
This is not limited to one discipline. The demand cuts across the entire oil and gas workforce.
