LNG and power operators are quietly hunting for the same people:
The sparkies who keep plants alive.
Quick backdrop:
- Ras Laffan has taken real damage
- A big chunk of Qatar’s LNG export capacity is offline for years, not months
- Power systems in LNG, power plants and data centres are all under pressure
When the power isn’t clean and stable:
Production stops. Equipment gets damaged. Safety risks go up.
And suddenly the “support” people become critical infrastructure.
The roles I’m being asked for look like this:
- HV Substation Engineer / HV SAP
- Electrical Power Systems Engineer
- Protection & Control / HV Protection Engineer
- Grid Connection Engineer
- UPS / Critical Power Engineer
- Switchgear Engineer / Commissioning Technician
- E&I / ICSS Engineer (LNG, terminals, power plants)
- Data Centre Electrical / Critical Facilities Engineer
